Its no replacement for a real shift kit. I say go all the way or go home, so real shift kit or forget about it.
I had an electronic shift kit (different company), and it was rubbish. Normal driving and it would SLAM into gears, so backing out of driveway usually involded at least one massive jolt. And when you put your foot down it just shifts normally. Though I think that has something to do with Holden torque management or something?

I would never recommend fully manualised for an everyday car. FIrst time you forget when you blast off from lights or accidentally put in 1st instead of 2nd and game over (which is easy with auto shifter).

Are you talking about the B&M Shifter? I personally don't think they look very flash in a street car, but to each their own.
EDIT: Had a look at your ride. LOL, the shifter is pimpin', looks alright in a VS. I've only seen a Pro shifter in a VX and it looked way out of place in an otherwise stock interior.
