crank angle senser info needed
hey guys ive never changed a crank angle senser b4 and just wanna no if its a nice easy swap over, ??? and also i wanna find a place to do error code check on my vr,,close to postcode 5087 in adelaide thanks

No need to pay for checking the error codes...all you need is a paperclip: Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)
Re installing a new CAS - remove large bolt from harmonic balancer, remove balancer....from that point it's all in front of you and very simple. Do a search on methods of loosening the HB bolt...not impossible but frustrating if you haven't done your research. Good Luck.

If it's a V8 it's a prick of a job and new or reco distributor is the cheapest way out of it.
All you need is a long Breaker Bar on a socket and a good battery to operate the starter motor, But be careful you disconnect the DFM plug (or all spark leads) so it wont fire-up and be sure you place the bar next to the correct side of the chassis, so it don't smash stuff!Originally Posted by hako
