    Default Fuses?

    hey all..
just recently i was playing around with the Smoko Lighter, it was not working at all. i check fuses and everything, they where fine, so i brought a new one, disconnected the battery, wired it up, put the battry back together, an turned on the car, well the was a crack sorta sound, now i have no dashboard lights, i have Radio,Engine Check lights, Headlights, Brakes lights ect. Just No Lights on the Dash or Center Consold (For exampe - Lights around the Heater Switches)

so i checked the sure No. 4 of the top of my head, and it was fine, so i went though all the others and they are all fine?!?!?!??

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks

    Matty

I'd pull the console cover off completely so as to locate where the wire is shorting...otherwise simply replacing the fuse will achieve nothing.

Check the 5amp fuse at fuse No.16 (instrument illumination)...also check the park lamp relay under the bonnet - think it's marked LP check.(it's part of that circuit). Check the 20 amp fuse at fuse No.15 which powers the fag lighter.
