    Default Live Axel rear springs

I bought some super low live axel springs on eBay a little while ago and pit them in on the weekend. They were off a vl but near new he claimed they were only on the car for 2 weeks. As I was fitting them I put them up beside my old springs which were lows and they looked exactly the same. Now they're in the car it look the same if not slightly higher. Anyone have any explanation to this?

Do they have a number on them? Maybe they are lows. Have you questioned the seller?

well they are super lows then the SL stand for super low obviously.
check you old springs if they are actual after market ones or just chopped.

has the ride gotten firmer since you put new springs in?
if yes then you were previously running chopped springs.

just because it says SL doesnt mean they are superlows.
it all depends what car they are going into.
you cant expect a certain spring height to affect all different models of a car the same way.
you should check the part number against the king springs catalogue online, if thats what brand they are.
    theyre probably just lows.

The old ones were kong spring lows fitted at a workshop so I never saw them b4 they went into the car. I looked at the code when I saw that they were about the same beside eachoter and it was king spring ...20 with no l or sl after it. That's all I can remember of that code. I'm away and don't have my car so I can't look at either spring code ATM.
And joker he said "it does" not "does it?"

The SL is a reference that Kingsprings use to identify the spring, just because it has SL on it doesn't make it super low. As an example KHPR20SL are ultra lows for a VL-VP and KHRL-152SSL are super low for a VE.

Fair enough I'll look up the code wheni get home and see what they actually are. Anyone want some live Axel lows? Looks like I might have 2 sets to sell. Also have a set of front lows.

Just looked on the king spring catalogue online and the ones I just put in were khrl-24sl+ which are super low for vb to vp. I thought that all live Axel would be the same but clearly not. So thanks for your help guys.

the live axle springs from vb to vs will all fit.
its just vr-vs i think had a slightly different mounting point which explains why they are the same hieght as before.
