lsd question

well i have just scored a lsd diff, pick it up tomorrow
its for my vs.
apparently its got lsd high performance on the diff some where, how will i know its genuine??

how do i tell if its a lsd, as its off the car atm, if u know what i mean, will both wheels turn same way or opposite? ive read alot of threads that are confusing

with diff suspended wheels off the ground spin one wheel & both will spin the same way if it is lsd

should also have a tag on the diff housing off one of the bolts that hold the back cover plate on with "use lsd oil" or something like that, if it has "use performance oil" or something similar it is just a V8 diff
