dignostic check, fix it than cleard the code with a scan tool, and vs's had a 3.8l ecotec v6

some one with a scan tool like a tech 1, holden can do it.

You need the code/light reset/erased with a diagnostic tool called the Tech1....something that usually only Holden carry although some auto elecs have one. Without it you cannot erase the light.
I'd guess that someone has switched the ignition/accessories on when the dash was out?.....cost me $10 to get mine erased but some people have paid ten times that - ring around first.

other wise disconnect the battery for like 5 to 10 mins or so and it should erase the code
