    Default healing a lazy throttle

Hey guys, i know the buicks are renown for having a fairly lazy throttle, however is there some methods to help make the reaction better. Very annoying when overtaking etc.

Ensure the throttle cable is functioning a hundred percent. Clean throttle body and check its opening one hundred percent. Not sure if thats what your after but DIY instructions are on here somewhere!

If you mean that it's a bit stiff and lacks feel then I'd remove the cable and soak it in oil overnight. This will lubricate the cable and make it move smoother. A shortcut may be to just spray both ends where the inner cable enters the outer cable with WD40 and then move in/out. The inner cable is coated with a plastic substance designed to make it move easier but with time it can wear away making the cable stiff to move. (bit like me in my old age!) Good Luck.

Is it the throttle that's playing up or the time for the transmission to kickdown thats the problem.

I'm getting the transmission serviced soon, so maybe that will fix the shift a bit, thanks for the suggestions.
