you can get some stuff to fix you the lines (its a broken circut) or buy a new screen

    look closely at the lines.

do any of them have a break?
    if so theres your problem.
they are actually a conductor and create a circut once broken the lines stop working
you can get a demister paint that you paint into the gaps and should fix the problem.

if you have a multi-meter, put that on OHMS scale or the on that goes "beep" - take one muti-meter prong and place it on the dimister line and follow it along with the other........it will stop beeping when it runs over the break or will not show any ohms scale on the meter
