all mounts and such shoud be the same, its the same basic engine with the blower on top, just check how you go for rego and insurance wise, shouldnt be an issue because the vs statesmans had a supercharged option. also the exhaust will need to be modded as the supercharged emgens use a twin cat setup and joins in to one at the back of the trans.

As far as I know. Engine, ECU, BCM matched to ECU, loom, S/C intake pipes, new exhaust. Also if you can, get a torque converter from a L67 car. I believe it is higher RPM than the L36 one.

i got a motor , gearbox, ecu, wiring and exhaust for $2000. n fitted it myself.

only other thing you'd need apart from what the others said is the fuel pump.

and can just get ya old bcm linked to new ecu.

motors usually go for $1500-$2500 on ebay usually with wiring n ecu and sometimes gearbox too.

Pretty sure the BCM/ECU linking thing was VT+. I'm gonna play devils advocate, the blocks are the same, the ports are the same, pretty sure you won't need to modify the exhaust.

i 'thought' it was just for the 2nd cat for extra flow. just cause i 'read' lol that single cat was too restrictive. but the old one would line up n it would run ok

you can just keep your normal computer and get a SC 6 tune burnt onto your memcal.
saves matching to the BCM etc.

the super 6's Ive driven go like stink when your up it. and you have to rev it. i also love the sound. clean and quite and the wine it has is gourgus.....lol no use having a loud exhaust when the super charger wine will do. also its cheep power. enlarge the pulley and it winds up the boost.

there is and there isn't. there not as quick as a v8 if there stock. but be better on petrol too when cruising around. but there a hell of a lot more tourqy than ecotecs
when i first put mine in i were a bit dissapointed the the power increase when it was standard ('supercharged' sounds so fast lol) but with the 10psi pulley im happy now and thats only 1 little mod. plenty more to go yet.
with the auto im pretty sure the tourq convertor is the only different thing between them (not 100% sure thou)

You don't need to rev the L67 to get it moving. Your torque is generated in the low end of the rev range, usually between 2000 to 4500 RPM. This does change depending on the mods that you have done.
When you want more boost, you use a SMALLER pulley to spin the blower faster, this will create more boost.

To the OP, the L67 conversion is a very easy conversion. The engine and box will bolt straight in with no issues whatsoever. You can use the standard wiring loom, but there are a couple of wires that you will have to extend as some of the sensors are in a different position.
You don't need to worry to much about the fuel pump as the standard ECOTEC one will get you about 300RWHP.
You also don't need to run the electrical boost bypass solenoid.
As others have said use your standard ECU/PCM and get someone like Delcowizard to do you a L67 memcal for it.
If you have all the bits ready to go, you should be able to do the conversion in a day.

The tranny is the same but the torque converter is slightly different. The L67 has a slightly higher stall.

I think you'll need to change the exhausts because my S/C V6 run two O2 sensors and the N/A ECO's run one O2 sensor.
And it runs twin cat twin mufflers and single rear muffler.

Well, the N/A Ecotec sitting in my garage has 2. The exhaust matches, so you don't need to change it. You don't need to have two cats. Yes, the L67 exhaust is apparently better, but it's not mandatory to do the conversion.
