I'm going to install a new diff cradle soon as my current one is cracked, but I've heard of people welding on extra pieces of metal to make it stronger. Anyone got more details on this?

Well you could, would say that there is now a fair bit of fatigue on the load points which have taken up the slack though.
I am interested in this as i have IRS and i have heard that the cradels are prone to cracking, would like to take some preventitive maintenance also...
