No light showing in the auto gear select consul; makes it hard @ night for checking which gear you're in. Can anyone help? Thanks
pull your ashtray out, then use abit of force to lift the peice around the gear shifter, it pulls straight up, then grab the bits of plastic around the gearshifter and pull them away( has P, D,R,1,2,3 on it), then ull be able to get to the bulb to disconnect it
what type of bulb is it? i think mine is dead?
i got to it today but it cant come off, but it have a brow/white wire and for memory i think a black one too, any help?
There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
The bulb is a T10 wedge, you can buy them at SCA or anywhere else that sells globes. Probably even your local servo. It will come out, its a tight fit. It just pushes in and out, do NOT twist it. If you cant grip it, grab a bit of fine sandpaper and try to grip it with that and just pull.
The biggest risk is breaking the bulb off and leaving the base still inside the socket, but if you do you can usually dig that out with a precision screwdriver or something fairly easily.
