VS split exhaust

Okay lets get this straight, i dont no a hell of a lot about cars.
I just brought a VS series II esteem with a split exhaust, Im on my P's and am wondering if this exhaust set up is legal in victoria for p platers?

any help would be appreciated.

as far as i know any NON-standard exhaust is illegal. as it is classes as a performance modification

A bolt on aftermarket exhaust is not strictly a 'performance modification', but the Esteem had IRS I think, so the twin system is factory.

My old VR was IRS and was only a single system from cat back.
