Hi, i need to remove the centre console to replace the gear indicator on my auto,how do you lift the console over the end of the gear selector ?? Also i have a squeak coming from the rear brakes when driving,as soon as i lightly push the brake pedal the squeaking stops, is this a sign that the pads may be low ??

Not 100% sure but i think you may have to turn the cover piece sideways to fit over the shifter, and the rear brake pads might need some of that brake pad silicone to stop the noise.

Re the squeal - remove one back wheel and check the pad thickness as a first step. If the pads are good then there are plenty of things to check but that's the easiest.
