VS Engine?

Hi all,
I'm looking for an engine for a VS wagy i have sitting in the backyard.
I'm wondering if anyone knows where I should go looking. Near Sydney and Canberra would be preferable.
Also, is there anythings i should be looking for in particular? (I have heard somewhere that the VS series 3 engines are better, but have also heard that that is just because they are newer and would have fewer kms.) Also what are common faults that i should try to avoid/look for.
