Default VS - SRS Air Bag Cover Needs Replacing

    Hi Guys,

I own a VS commo exec.

The cover of the Passenger SRS Airbag has warped with heat and has bubble.
Im pretty sure this is defect-able... ?

Is this an easy fix/change over I can do Myself
how can it be done safely

    :Cheers

Holden will probably charge into the 1000's for this. I don't even know if they can do it anymore. It is a factory fault across all VSs that have a passenger airbag.

I doubt it's defectable, as it's just a piece of trim. My car has been through roadworthy with it and it's passed.

But most say that the dash has to come out or something along those lines.

    LOL! that would suck!
Where abouts are you mate? The wreckers down here don't have any, reckon you could see if they have another one in the dark blue trim colour?

Well, I had no option on this. The cover is no longer available from Holden. I got a trimmer friend to cut and glue carpet on it. Is it adr compliant?............that I am not sure of.
