Hey yo,
Thinking of putting stato interior into my ss....anyone know if it's a straight fit?
Only looking at the seats and the door trims....
Also i tried a quick search but found nothing...
Cheers all...
Front seats will bolt straight in no problems, same for door trims, however the rear seats are not as good. The base will fit ok, but the back of the seat will hang past the edge of the door trim by about 10cm. I changed it in my old VP to VS Statesman trim. If you are fussy it will annoy you every time you open the door, but it looks fine with the doors closed and doesn't affect the comfort of the seats. Have a look at the pics below from my car and decide yourself!
Hope this helps

as hwy747 said, the side rear seats have the "wings" which stick out, found it abit annoying after awhile when in the back but nothing major. the fabric of the outer edges of the wings will have 3 small " + " shaped holes for the plastic connecters but you can hot glued them shut. the base seat is abit taller with the thicker top cushion. some people install VP rear seats because they don't have the wings.
this should give you a better picture of how far the wings stick out
