    Default Slotted Rotors

    Hey all

Long story short my Mechanic who I used to go to (who im never going back to) replaced my back brakes as they were pretty shot except it looks like hes put a different disk on the front then the back, so now my brakes jutter and have to push them in a fair bit to get to stop.

So im looking at getting some DBA Slotter Rotors front and back, id like to hear some feedback from people who have/had them before, how much do they improve braking over the stock VS brakes? and rough cost of price ect.

Also ive been looking on there site at the different types which one would you's recommend "Street Series" or "5000 Series" both say for street use

Cheers all, Any help will be much appreciated

NAAF does an excellent rotor that is fantastic, and only a fraction higher than the standards.

I do the same rotor that is in the EBC VE Big Brake upgrade kit seen here Press Releases scroll down to the ugrade kit. I get the rotors done the same way as the kit.

$375 shipped for the full set, front and rear.

You can buy slotted rotors off e-bay or your local auto parts shop, just get the RDA ones they are heaps cheaper and just as good. My car has some Chinese ones the dealer fitted under warranty and they have been fine, no shudder and the car stops great. I just gave the outside of the hub part a paint with some high temp paint before I fitted them.
If you want to go the expense of DBA gold or the othe rones that have a gold anti corrosive coating they look nicer but are a lot more expensive for something that is essentially just going to wear out anyway and they won't stop it any better.

You have to bed in any new rotor or brake pad or they will squeal. Most of the time anyway.

    Very easy to do though.
