Burning Smell

i had the heater going today in my vr and just out of no where all i could smell is burnt oil so i turned it off and then later i went out for a drive had the heater going but it did not come back should i be worried

dunno, look for oil leaks, maybe the rocker cover gaskets leaking onto your exhaust manifold.

Maybe you had the vent set to outside air and it sucked some fumes in from outside....or if the heater hasn't been used for months they will smell a bit when first turned on. But really, unless it happens again I wouldn't worry about it.

If it was a one off then I'd agree it was something else in the air.
