The Climate control in my VR Berlina has randomly decided to turn on and stay on when I have the car started or ignition On.
It's never happened before and was going fine all day until I got home when one of my mates told me that my right brake light was out, so I took the tail light out and found the bulb was a but loose and tightened it up. Turned the car to on and the climate control is on and wont turn off. (Yes i've tried turning climate control on and off)
Any ideas? I haven't touched any wires.. The plus side is it's on heat.![]()
Best bet is buy a summer car with the climate stuck on cold and keep this one for winter. lol
Can you borow another climate control modual to try?

Its a long shot, but it can't hurt just to pull the climate control fuse, then stick it back in and see if it fixes itself like everything else electronic

Okay, so I pulled the fuse out and put it back in, didn't work, tried to put it in test mode, didnt work, so i've just unplugged the climate control.. Might need a new thing.
Anyways weird shit was happening this morning, when i didnt have the climate control unplugged this morning it went for about 5 mins then turned off. It was raining so I decided to turn my lights on and the climate control came back on. Turned the lights off turned off. Turn the lights on the climate control comes back on.
And my odometre seems to be broken aswell, nothings coming up. Any ideas? pissing me off tbh.
Also none of the dash lights etc light up when i have the headlights on.
Don't all rush to help at once.
im sorry Chrispy, we all reply when we can because we like to help but unfortunately money dont grow on trees for me so i had to work 8am - 8pm yesterday so i didn't get time to read my emails, if the speed isn't satisfactory im sure a auto electrician can help you.
Now if none of the dash lights are lighting up and the 3 trip window cluster is not showing up then it can only really be a fuse blown under the steering column.
If the odo is not showing the orange white wire is not getting 12v's to the cluster.
