speed alert into 94 VR? does it already have the harness???

heys guys i want to put a speed alert in my vr that came out with the little useless pocket instead, should it alrady have the plug there some where or did the cars wiring come out with that as an extra thing? let me know guys

No it probably wont have it in there. You can replace the dash loom with a loom that has it and it will plug right in.

Is the VR different, as the VS already has the harness?

Possible but hard to say. My series 1 vs exec ute had the same little plastic pocket in the fascia like yours are the speed alert plug was part of the standard base harness. Just plug and play. Just have to remove your plastic dash fascia and you'll quickly be able to tell.

VR S1 did not have them I think and became standard from VR S2 onwards.
