6's and 8's also have a different flywheel.
no worries cheers for the input...is there any other problems i might need to know about with this conversion?? cheers, dan
Well, unless you've got a full conversion from a V8, it's not really worth modifying the V6 stuff to fit. To start with, you have to machine down the input shaft, find the assorted bits and pieces like flywheels and bellhousings (on the provisor that you've found somebody willing to seperate pieces like this, and they wont be cheap indivdually). The bolt pattern on the block should be the same, maybe the bellhousings are different lengths?
