vs calais will crank but wont start

hey everyone.im new to just commodores. i have a major issue with my car not starting. got water in my engine bay last weekend.startd fine.then died. since iv replaced dizzy and cap. leads,fuel regulator. has great spark at plugs and is getting fuel. any help would be great.

Do you have any water down on top of the plugs? That would short the spark out so the plugs don't actually fire.

iv taken 1 plug out at a time n the spark is great would it b a different case wen they are actually in? and another thing iv been thinking about.could it hav anything to do with the map sensor?

Check your error codes

could be crank angle sensor?

edit: could also be your coil packs? maybe get them tested. and check all fuses/relays

I wish V6 people would read the post descriptions and realize that the problem is with a V8 and not a V6 !!! I would have said that the problem is either your coil (at the rear of the engine) or the ignition trigger module, except for the fact that you've said that you are getting spark at the plugs.

He doesn't say anything about the engine in his post just car model, on further inspection you can find that it's a 5L but i'm not about to go reading every single thing on the page, just offering help.

error codes check you can still do on v8s?
