    Braking down/missfire under load.

You could also test the primary and secondary resistances.

Primary should be about 0.42-0.47 ohms
    Secondary about 6000-7300 ohms

Could also be a dodgy plug or lead or even a lead that isn't on properly.

Using multigrips, pull each lead off the plugs one at a time while idling and see which one makes no difference to the miss. If you can hear the lead sparking to the plug when it is just off it, then the chances are you have a bung plug.

    Sounds coil related?

if its on the fire wall, it will be nice and easy to get to and has more than likely been changed at some point. Pull it off and see if you can see any cracks in the casing?
My coil died on the ss a while back and that had a small crack in it, before it died completely it was missing quite bad.

    Yeah thanks bandit.
I did what abba said and pulled each lead off to see which was misfiring and It's Cylinder 3 witch is second on the drivers side.
it's firing out of the top of the dizzy cap and out of the lead into the plug? So faulty plug?
The only thing turning me away from faulty plug is the fact that i start it sometimes and it runs like a dream! Then 5-20 mins into the drive it starts missing again :S

Could be a crook lead or perhaps the lead isn't properly secured on the distributor cap. Did you use the recommended method of wiring the leads onto the distributor or did you just the laissez faire approach (anything goes)?

Pretty sure i used anything goes haha. but it's seated nicely, iv'e also changed the lead to the old one and still the same.
I gave it a squirt around a corner before and straight after that the problem started again, But was fine for an hour or so before hand.
