Locked key in Vr

As in title son has somehow locked key in car, have done a search but found nothing helpful, can anyone help with a way to get in as car needed for work in morning, cheers Bob.

Call RAA or RACQ or whatever company it is in Tazzie.
Thats about it unless there is a spare key lost in a chest of drawers in the house.
There might be ways to get in the car but they might not be divulged on the forum for obvious reasons.

I didn't think you could lock the drivers door on a VR/VS unless it was closed and that means you'd have to be in the car to lock it from inside or have the keys to lock it from the outside?

no but you can open back door, lock all doors, leave keys inside and and close back door easily enough.
surely you have a spare key inside the house like everyone should have??
