    Default Lowering VS

I'm looking to lower my 97' VS s-pac exec II onto super low king springs. But so far I'm thinking of just doing the rear, as the car already seems to sit higher at the rear for some reason. Anyway I'm just wondering if I need just the springs or new shocks as well? Also will lowering just the back make it much more uncomfortable ride?

    Thoughts please.

Lowering any part of the car front or rear or both is obviously going to make it a rougher ride and if going super low or lower i would recommend doing the struts/shocks as well or else it will almost be annoying to drive.

You don't 'HAVE' to do shocks, but it will be a bitch to drive without them. I have my S pack (Live Axle) lowered on Kings Super lows (about to go ultras at the rear) with FE2 spec shocks all round, and it is a shocking car to drive in terms of comfort. It's rough and you feel absolutely every inconsistency in the road.

New shocks for the rear are about $150 for Monroe GT sports.

By the way, if your going to lower your car, please do it properly and have the front and rear sitting at the same height....post a pic so we can see how high it is now.

hey mate don't lower just the rear the previous owner of my car did it and it was shocking to drive and scraped constantly as the back dragged since it was angled.

I changed the front and now it sits even and no problems scraping.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try and get some pics up and let you's know. How much am I looking at superlows and new shocks all round? I feel a lot of bumps in the road as it is!
