crack in coil.

hi, just noticed a vertical crack in middle coil. haven,t taken it off yet. car runs great but just wondering if i should replace it as we are going to narooma on monday. (thurs. now) if the crack is also inside should it miss like crazy? it may have been like this for a while as i have just cleaned the engine bay. never had car with this system before so thank you all for any info.

you can replace individual coils, might be handy to atleast buy another to have on hand if it does go or just swap it over now and keep the other as spare.

if your going on a long road trip defo take a spare with you or replace it, if you wash the engine bay or the coil gets wet it will most likely finish it off.

ok,thanks for the tip. took a punt , got one at wreckers for$40. everything ok. will keep other for spare.
