I noticed this noise a while ago but now it seems to be getting worse. It's sounds like a water noise, you can hear it inside the car while driving. When I accelerate the noise becomes faster. Oh yea only when you have the heater on you can hear it. I replaced the heater tap about 2 months ago. Any ideas
I had the same problem with my VS not long ago. In my case it was because of the cooling system unable to hold pressure. becasue the heater coil is the highest point of the cooling system if any air is able to get in it will cause an air lock in your coil behnd the dash. explains the gurgling water noise. There could be a few reasons for this. Bad radiator cap, pin hole somewhere, hole in heater coil, cavitated water pump ect. Best bet is to get your cooling system pressure tested. get it inspected if the system doesn't hold pressure. Hope this helps
my vs is doing the same thing.....does yours overheat at all?? my started making that noise then slowly used more coolant....and then in turn went to max hot when i was driving home...took off the rocker gaskets and there was milky shite all in there!! i thought i blew a head gasket but it was only the lower intake manifold...so be careful yours may be leaking as well!
No mine doesn't over heat at all. In fact it never goes past two bars on the temp gauge. Once I noticed in drive thru, at idle it went a tiny bit past halfway. Driving normal however doesn't seem to heat up that much. This weekend I'll probably get a pressure test as suggested by lowwhite. Will post results.
