blue smoke is oil getting in, if it does it on start up and then clears i would say valve stem seals
What oil are you using? try running a thicker oil and it will reduce it

If it was worn rings i would think it would blow smoke all the time.

Bandit10 is on the money...but I'd add that in my experience if you hold the revs at say, 4000rpm for about 5 secs and it starts blowing blueish smoke then it will be bad rings....also will blow increasing amounts of smoke when flooring it as it goes thru the gears. If it's got more than 350km on it, I'd go for thicker oil for sure as it's a lot cheaper than a reco. Some of those 'stop smoke' products can work as well...it all depends on how long you want to keep the car and how much cash you want to throw at it.

thats it, i'd say rings are on the way out. idle for several minutes and tromp it in idle and it blows a huge puff of smoke then valve stems/seals are rooted but hold revs up and it blows then its stuffed rings. wont blow smoke all the time, only at higher revs if rings are on way out.
