oil leak

a mates charged ss has a small prob.

we are going to do a service on the box but there is a lil oil leak comming from the back of the motor
it may be the rear main seal leaking but its only small. wipe it come back 4 days later and only 2 lil drops of oil. and to make it worse the zorst has no flanges in the zorst at all

what will the oil leak be and best way to pull it out plz help

WTF is a zorst??? in all my years as a mechanic i have never heard of this, is it some aftermarket crap???
anyway, if we are talking about a standard V type holden engine here, check rear of rockercovers and manifold gasket as sometimes they can leak from rear and make it look like rear main leaking.

i think he is talking about the exhaust....zorst is a lazy way of saying exhaust. and I'm also thinking the manifolds or extractors are welded to the engine pipes/cat making a full welded exhaust system.
