    Default vr commodore problem with kicking over and stalling

    hey guy ive recently bought a vr acclaim. when you try and kick the car over it cranks over a few time the eventually kicks and throwing out a heap of black smoke while it at it( fuell i know)'. IT also randomly like to stall at idel and doesnt hold a constat idle. OK now the cars had this issue for about or so, We have changed the fuel pump (old one died anyway) it helped for 3 days. same as the filter and injectors.
    it is also blow a heap of black smoke over 3300 if u put ur foot down only.

    Now what i was wondering is Could it be any of the following
    1) CAS
    2) COILS leads ir plugs. it is fowling up ONLY 5 and 6. lead and plugs will be changed next week any
    3) fuel pump or filter. BOTh being replaced next week as well.
    4) the fuel regulator or injectors.

    NOw also it is currently running a piod filter which im replacing with a cai set up and K7N panel filter.
    It also runs fine when cold SOme times

    Are you getting spark in 5 and 6? You could swap the plugs from another cylinder over and see if it fouls that one up to, unlikely to be coils as 5 and 6 are on different coils, more likely to be dfi board under the coil packs.

    yeah the spark coming fron all of the coils is blue good or not??? it fouled up new plugs in about 2 and a bit weeks but once u change the pump ect it goes good for a few days... this time its getting a brand new pump so might help

    well black smoke out the pipe means it's running to rich, if it's getting spark then that shouldn't be the issue, maybe the injectors on 5&6 are leaking. If changing the pump makes it come good for a while then it's possibly a pressure issue in the injectors. You could test this by shifting injectors 5&6 to another chamber and see if they then foul the plugs and run rich.

    we h ave put a second hand set of injectors in im thining of buying brand new one or at least reco one..where would be best for them i live in rockhamptn but willbuy ones to be posted ect,, thats no hassle, could it be the regulator or a vaccum leak

    im oing to run platnum plug as it runs good when its got new plugs in also

    well if it's only running rich in 5&6 and the rest are fine, then it's going to a specific issue to those cylinders, either very little spark or to much fuel, so it's likely to be either DFI board / Coil pack issue which is giving weak spark to 5&6 or the injectors on 5&6 are putting in to much fuel. You'll soon find out if either of these are the issue by swapping coil packs around or injectors around and seeing if the issue follows them.

    the injectors ive done..and they where doing it before these ones..what coils would be best standeeds or sumin a lil more beefy?

    i didnt even think of the cat..another quick question...should my exhaust be running under the left sid cv (irS) or is it because they flow better

    yep my missus had a camira it was over heating stalling pushing oil out wouldnt go over 20kmh ended up being the cat lol as for the exhaust have no idea i think irs run under the cvs

    ohok..i might have to run it over though because i want to go either ssl's or ultras in the rear and the next height up in the fron but camber might be problem

    you can just switch the coil packs around and see if other plugs have the same issue or pickup a 2nd hand set cheap and swap all 3 over.

    Next week im going to the following,,leads plugs second hand coils fuel pump filter, abd the ari filter and cai so after that i will see what happens with it may even price a cas and do it to jst to be sure

    ok so it was the dfi board and a weak ass earth cable..so now im about to rip my dash out to set up some blue led lights..and soem blue led footwell lighting set up.. onlything i can figure out is if i want to set up blue leds for the back floor how would i set the up im using the the led strips u get off ebay
