Im sorry if this has been done to death but a bit confused after see some threads with multiple configurations going on and such and what is actually required.
I have a vs v6 s3 ute auto and the other day lucky enough to bye a s2 vs 50th anv v6 manual ute smashed so have the awesome donar car with a whole lot of nick nacks that sometimes get forgotten about for this process.
My question is regarding the wiring looms, what works speedo issues and such. Which looms will i need exactly and how far will i have to go for eg do i need to take the dash out and change the speedo loom as well.
I forgot to add i swapped to a calias dash about twelve months ago. Any clarrification on this would be good.
I was under the assumption that from a certain model cant recall few years since working in the auto industry that 99 percent of looms where the same and plug and play so to speak except for you say calais level end but exec to ss was same and just requiered pathch harness to drive the individual config of the car.

the bit that needs changing is under the car onto the box mate and everything should work fine if ur overly worried strip the whole harness and replace it with the man one
