Removing Speed Alert

Just a quick questions guys, im looking at taking out the speed alert in my VS as i dont use it and want to use the space to put a voltmeter, but before i go ripping and hacking at it, how does it come out? Does it just pop out like the air vents do? or do i have to take off my dash to get at it from behind?

It will just lever out - even easier if you take the fascia off the dash cluster.

But you can pop it out from the front and unplug it.

88greenvn has it there quite easy to take out..i tiook mine out but if ur putting a volt gauge in u gotta take the facia off any way to cut it
