ok, i need some help,
im looking into some VE wheels and wondering whats the deal, i no they will have ot be machined out and such,i understand that the stock tyres on those rims are 245's? will these fit on a vs ute with superlows all round? All will i need my guards rolled?
ive search the forum and havent found my answer so any help will be appreciated,
cheers![]()
You will need them machined and wrapped in 235/35/19's. It's the only way they will fit. The standard 245/45/19 will not fit. Your super lows will be fine.
ok thnx for the reply mate, so maybe its better buying just rims then getting them machined and buying tyres seperate to suit?
If you can yes. Or if you get them with still some good tread just flog them off and put towards your new tyres. Taking tyres off is inexpensive if that's what you may be thinking.
yer im still considering my options TBH think it might be to much hassle getting ve rims, might just go for some vy ss or something, then again you cant beat the look of late model rims on older cars![]()
you could just buy them like this off ebay with $70 courier not to bad a price really tbh though i prefer the ssv rims COMMODORE VE SS SV6 OMEGA 18 INCH WHEELS RIMS VL VT VZ - eBay Other, Wheels, Tyres, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 27-Jul-10 11:26:39 AEST) and there already machined to fit early model just add tyres and away you go
