power steering rack strange noise and small leak.

Hi guys,

Ive got a small leak from somewhere in my rack, slowly losing oil, however ive also noticed
when the car is cold i turn hard left and it makes a strange gurgling sound. Would this probably be a seal gone somewhere? And if it occurs turning left what side of the rack would that suggest it be from?

hey mate yeah common problem youll probably need a whole new rack depending on how thrashed the seals are if not just new seals for it a new rack is worth around $550-$700 cant remember how much new seals are though

I had a reconditioned rack supplied and fitted for less than $350.
