heya guys havin slight problem with my vs statesman its a standard supercharged v6 with a pod and a new twin 2 1/2'' inch exhaust and lately ive noticed if u idle at lights or in driveway eg. it starts to puff a lil smoke slighty bluey white so straight away its burning oil yet wen under acceleration or constant driving with very short stops there is no smoke. when i get home i check the exhaust tips at the rear an u can see a kinda clearish liquid spots amongst the black oilly soot. ive spoken to a few mechanics an they say they arent too sure wat it is butthey would start with valve stem seals butits not a gauranteed fix. does anyone have any idea wats causeing this or hap similar problems cheers
If it blows smoke each morning when you start it up its probably oil seeping through the valve stems, if its constant when running its probably rings.
Or it could be that your pod is over oiled. Fairly unlikely though.
