leaking power steer high pressure hose??

i have a vs calais and it just had a rack put it and when it was fitted it leaked from the high pressure hose,it was taken back off and sent to enzed and they apparently put lead around the thread and it sealed up for a couple of days but then it leaked again.... it used 1.5l of fluid today has anyone else had this problem??or does anyone have any suggestions? they also tried a new hose and 2 o'rings to get it to seal up!! also could it be dripping or spitting onto my exhaust anywhere?? i only just recently bought it and started driving it 2 days ago and i can smell a burning oil smell and was hoping thats what the smell is....

Wash and check where the leak is coming from.

New hose needed?

Tried a new hose...:-(. I'm guessing not much can be done to the rack to stop it????

Take it back to who ever put the rack in it, simple. Tell them to fix it and do it properly ie no lead. It's their problem. If the proper O ring does not seal then there is something wrong with the hose or the rack and if it was my car they would be replacing whatever is not right and not bodging it up.
