our buick V6 engines never came with a factory supercharger on em. they did in the US using a M62 which is a fair bit smaller then the M90 used on the later L67 engines. you can get the M62 to fit on your motor but it will need some modifications to get the elbow for the TB to clear the firewall. otherwise you need to do a engine conversion using the later L67

my VR was going to be supercharged with a later model VS supercharger. he swapped the rocker covers around so the filler was on the other side. there's a bracket that moves the ignition coils over. i think a different intake manifold. i'm pretty sure just chucking it on and getting the computer to handle it is all that's left

Different heads, cooling, ecu, wiring, injectors, throttlebody,te nsioners, pulleys the list goes on.A full gasket kit alone is 250$+.

Go for a complete engine/wiring ect combo.Transmissions are different aswell as the exhaust system.

Shit yeah. I have a cousin who swears black and blue that you can fit ecotec heads and intake manifold to a buick. Says hes done it before himself.

i don't know about changing the heads from a VS to a VR, he just swapped the left to the right one, i don't see why they wouldn't go on though.
But yea i've seen the manifold on my one been changed to the VS supercharge one.
What karlos says is right, but if you want to do it hillbilly styles, just those few things i got up there. (can't guarantee how long it'll last though :P) might want to listen to karlos

Nah mate, wont work at all, the port spacing is all wrong. Thats what I told my cousin, I even had my VR and VS parked side by side and showed him, but he still didnt believe me.

And Im pretty sure the supercharged VS had injectors in the heads, rather than in the intake manifold like the VR and NA VS. Also you would want to use thicker head gaskets to drop the compression a bit. But it wont work with a VR bottom end, anyway.

yea i'd rather just get a VS that came out with a supercharger. probably why the previous owner of my one gave up on it and sold it to me
