    Default indicator lights on dash

    ok ill tell you a story and yes it will be hard to understand cause i dont get it either my indicator lights work when i push my hazard button in and only work some times when i indicate any reason for this also at night only a bit of my dash cluster i think its called works so its lit up a little on the revs and a little on the speedo almost hard to see if i go faster than a hundred cheers any in put would be great

    Add some full stops to that and it should be a bit easier to understand!

    You'd probably be best to remove the dash console and reinstal - this way you can make sure all the plugs and connectors are fully pushed in and making good connection. There is a how-to in that section. Use the one that talks about fixing a speedo as that procedure requires dash removal.
    I know there can also be a problem with the hazard lights switch - if it plays up you can lose indicators etc....maybe that would be first thing to do as it's a lot easier than pulling the dash.

    yeah but liek i said when i push the hazard button both lights flash on the dash cluster but when i indicate right or left it doesnt show up could it be the actual indicator arm on the right hand side ?

    OK - now I'm with you, you've probably got bulbs blown in your dash display which will cause only part of the display to light up, however if the turn indicator lights on the dash only sometimes light up then that means you have a bad contact/connection as per my first post. The hazard switch can cause strange problems!!! I don't think it's the indicator arm. I also note you have a Statesman which may have a more exotic dash display than the poor man's Exec that I've got, maybe someone else with a Stato can advise better. Good Luck.
