Vr Series One Side Stripes

Hey everyone,

I have a green Vr commodore Series one.. i kno there are lots of posts about this but i was in need of some advice/ideas.

This photo isnt actually mine but it looks similar but i only have stockies...



Now what i needed help with is...

Do you think I should paint the old chrome strip white (prefered)

or

Paint the whole black strip green...

Any ideas or suggestions will be great..

PS. I have seen some the same colour as mine with the strip and liked it... want also to know how they did it or if it was a series 2

paint it green man, if you dont like it . just use some metho to take it off and try something else
