my fuel was on empty and light was on so i went and got fuel and i filled it putting 53L in and i was reading about tank sizes and it says 63L stock so i had 10L left my question is can you use them 10L or cant pump reach it
dont want to go that far
Go to a servo?
Fuel tanks can get dents in them and hold less. Light usually comes on at 10L

It's a good idea to keep as much fuel in there as you can as keeping the pump fully submerged will help to keep it cool which may extend it's life.
After the ligh tcame on I wouldn't drive it much more than 50km and certainly not past the next servo.
till it goes chug chug cough cough. there is normally 3-4 liters of un-usable fuel in the tank. with a decent dent that gets worse, especially if it's like mine and it's right under the pick up![]()

ive heard the light comes on with 8litres to go.
Pretty sure if you read the book that comes with your car, (In mine anyway, VR buick) It says it's ment to come on at around 12 litres.
Is there really a need to run it that empty? Unless in certain circumstances.
i was told to keep it above a quater other wise ur fuel pump will eventualy burn up
i was asking casue i want to throw a new fuel filter on and i wanted to get rid of some crap out of the bottom of the tank
Do you have a level 3 cluster? Hold "set" (or is that "mode"? I dunno, one of them) when on average fuel screen and it'll show you how much is left in the tank.
No idea how accurate it is though

yer i do have a lvl 3 you have to press mode and set when you turn the car on
Try as Philthy suggested...You can calibrate it when you fill right up too.
