    Default vr digital speedo and tacho

    hi does anyone have plans on how to make and fit a digital speedo and tacho for a 1994 vr berlina with the level 3 dash cluster cheers kevin

    cant you just use the one built into the L3 cluster?? forget how you get it up, but i dont think its dis-similar to getting the speed alert digital speedo up.

    kev's vr, it's not entirely clear what it is you have in mind, whether that's filling the existing LCD windows with something different or replacing the mechanical gauges. Either way, a search for "MPGuino" might yield some ideas.

    The code for it is open source so could be adapted and it already has a speed display.

    I stumbled across this:

    which might give a few ideas on how to do it. Also "Megaview", although that requires the Megasquirt the principles behind its operation are also open source.
