everything ids the same except the engine and associated component's like the trans etc. never use a second hand cas, you are just shooting your self in the foot for a 30 dollar part. everything in side the car is the same or can be fitted. rear seats are different if its a wagon to sedan etc but other than that. wagon fuel tanks are different from sedans

The power steering pump on an Ecotech is different to a Buick V6. I think they can be made to fit if modified however a reco pump outright is less than $100 or you can buy an overhaul kit from Holden for about $20.
I'd also be keeping the starter motor, blower motor resistor pack, brakes, wheelsnad tyres if they are good.
my keyboard batteries are almost dea and theblower motor reistor pack what is that???and yeah im buying a new cas soon the dfi board seem different can they still be used or no use
buy some new batteries.
the resistor pack hides under the cowl panel(where your wiper motor is). it controls the fan speed for your vents. these burn out after a while.
vs dfi's work fine on vr from memory.
edit: vs power steering pumps have a pressed in fitting for a hose to the remote reservoir. to use it on a vr, you will need the reservoir aswell, possibly even the fan shroud so its got a place to mount to.
