Default Driver side window VS Statesman problem

Hi When the driver side electric window is moving up it comes away from the piller if I push it backwards it will still leave a gap when fully up by placing both hands one out one inside I can rock the window. this is the only way I can get to close up and not make wind noise when driving. Is it easy to replace the control arms in the door??

holden dont make them anymore but you can buy aftermarket mechanisms off ebay. The factory ones on the car are rivited on you will need to drill the rivets out to get the old one out, then just use some bolts with spring washers to put the new one in.

They can be hard to find can't they. The drivers window is always the one to go, so they become hard to find

    Hi The1,

Ha! I was missing the vital "regulator" piece of information!

    Cheers, Matt.

Take you door card off and have a look. You might find that one or more of the rivets holding the actuator in place have let go (common problem) and just need replacing rather than requiring new arms.
