    Default electrical problems

i recently brought a 94 vr stock v6 and have discovered some electrical problems such as my power windows being hooked up straight to the battery and continuously drawing power from it when not evn started so i am getting tht fixed soon by an auto elec. but my main problem is that my 3rd fuse keeps on distributing heat into it and completely melting the fuse. but the weird thing is that the fuse itself still stays in tact and the plasting case around it melts instead. can any on please explain to me why this is happening and also what the fuse actually does. it is fuse 3 (heated rr. wdo.) what does this fuse do??

its obviously for the rear demister. maybe switch on the dash is stuck on ? try switching the switch on and off a few times. If that doesn't work pull the fuse out .

for a fuse to melt like that it will have a bad connection on one of the legs.

get the auto elec to cut the wires to it, and wire in another fuse holder.
