interior light

ever since ive got my vr commodore the interior light has never worked when i put a globe in the light stays on containtly i cant switch it off what is causing this problem??

Check that your dimmer switch is in normal position (middle position). Its the little switch on the main headlight switch. If it is up all the way, this turns your dome light on. So flick it back down

yeh ive already tryed that but the light still stays on..

That was going to be my suggestion. Might be a door switch playing up so it always thinks a door is open

how long did you wait for it to go out? there on a timer and you have to wait a bit for it to turn off, other wise it should turn off when the ignition/ engine is turned on.

all fixed turns out nothing was wrong just didnt wait 30 seconds for the timer to time out...
