So I have found a wrecked VS on the side of the street that had a nice set of extractors on it, and
I managed to get the passengers side one off. I cant get under it to drop the steering rack, so I cant get the drivers side one off. Is it ok just to run 1 extractor, and leave the drivers side stock? Will i notice much gain? Oh and its a vs v6 auto, pod filter, gutted cat, bellmouth removed and stage 4 extreme performance chip.
It's probably fine to run just one, but it's pretty bloody pointless. If you can't get the both of them I wouldn't bother. You won't get jack performance wise running just one.
Biggest issue your gonna have is if the stock exhaust will bolt up to the both of them.
Also, are you sure this car isn't stolen? Seems pretty dodge to be taking bits off a car from the side of the street.
Also, about your mods, the VS doesn't have a bellmouth. And what does a "stage 4 extreme performance chip" entail?
Go get half a haircut while you're at it.
It'll do the trick on one side, but you'll look like a d*ckhead
Side of the road spare parts? Seems pretty suss man...
Gotta be trolling with that list of parts surely LOL

No offense but you are either not very smart or this is a set up.....
Are you joking or what? Why don't you try driving your car with 3 wheels and see how that goes?
Yeah I read what you guys had to say, And I decided instead of running one extractor and one stockie, I could make another extractor. So I took off my stock manifold and made it into an extractor.
I used the same idea as the 'log' manifold that some of the turbo guys are using. What do you think?

lol @ this whole thread. And that last photo, you really think that is what an extractor is?

Ummm....you say you have one side of a VS extractor and yet you cut up a VR manifold.....

I'm still trying to comprehend whats going on here.
Nice welding job.
Is this your welded diff?
With the extractor on the passenger side only, the left hand bank will be making more power that the right hand bank.
This may cause the car to pull to the right under hard acceleration.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
VR and VS heads are different, different manifolds, different extractors. They will not interchange.
Definate troll, considering a VS has no bellmouth to remove anyway

Some more of his work.
What a waste of a thread.
