hi i have ecotec v6 under load it plays up feels like runing out of fuel but driving normal its ok until you stand on it i change the coil pack it whent away about aweek later it come back can anyone help
Take the connector off the DFI module and clean all the terminals.
If that doesnt work then pull the DFI module off and clean the mounting points. Those points earth.
Check your trouble codes and make sure the crank angle sensor is not intermittant.
Get hold of a known working ignition coil,(maybe borrow a mates),and swap it (one at a time obviously) with each of your 3 coils.Drive it each time and see if the problem goes away.If it does, then replace that coil, but Id try to replace all 3 coils with genuine holden coils or good known brand ones like MSD.These coils can seem to run ok until the engine is under load, then they start to play up and break down. You can test these coils with a multimeter, but Ive seen them show up ok on the multimeter, but it still caused the engine to misfire,so I always test them now by trying a different coil,a new one that I keep spare, just for this purpose.
thanks i try this
