Default VS lowered. now rubbing sound on left turn

So I had my VS lowered the other day, just with replacement springs and left the shocks standard and no camber kit as of it. Pretty happy with the height, although its lower than I expected.

My only problem is since its been lowered ive noticed when turning left, WHILE MOVING at a mediumish speed theres a rubbing/scrubbing sound? any idea what this could be?

maybe I need to have a camber kit fitted? or could the wheels be hitting something?

I have no mud flaps. ideas appreciated.

where ever the tyre is rubbing or what ever is rubbing, it should be visible as it will have already taken paint/underbody coatings off.

It's your rear left tyre scrubbing on the guard (Live) or inner wall (IRS). If it's live axle you need an adjustable panhard rod. If it's IRS you need a camber kit.

That sounds like the problem yeah, its IRS so a camber kit is in order.
    2pt or 4pt?

Both of those you have mentioned i have heard of as being good brands but have never really put them next to each other and done a price/performance comparison :P

+2! cheers dude, wasn't the plastic guards but i had a snoop around inside the wheel arches and found a dangly bit of hose inside the left front wheel arch, just long enough to touch the wheel if it was in lock. trimmed that back, went for a drive and no more rubbing noises!!

I have no idea what the hose is meant to be for maybe a breather hose for something either way wont hurt it getting cut back a bit
whats the best way to tell if i actually need a camber kit? because I thought the SS's came out with FE2..

The vacuum reserve bottle is under the left front guard,it looks like a black plastic ball, and it should have a rubber hose going to it. It might be this vacuum hose that was hanging down and touching the tyre..If this was the hose you cut or trimmed, you will have a vacuum leak which will effect the power and economy of the engine.

Definitely wasn't the vac tank hose. This hose was on the firewall side, inside the wheel arch.

Camber kit is for the rear, it stops the camber that wears out the inside of the tyre.
