vs calais series 2 5l abs failure

hey guys, just bought another car and run it at heathcote the other day and on the way its breaks went really hard on me like the abs aint working anymore, was very difficult to stall it up to 2800 with barely any brake!! i run a 14.4 as is but could have launched alot harder, can anybody help me out with this problem

Sounds to me like the booster is shot, not the abs unit.

taking my car to dads workshop today, gettin vt booster, vt calipers and and discs and some high temp pads,
it sucks at draggs in heathcote i couldnt stall the car up without it creeping over the line, so hopefully this will allow a better launch and get flat 14's

no vacuum means no brakes, my 286 cam apparantly doesnt produce enought vacuum into the booster, so now im runnin a vacuum pump, yet to drive it out of workshop yet... will find out more tomoz

hope your runnin a hi rise manifold or somthin with that cam, thats huge for the stock manifold.

i have a starr inlet manifold. 90mm.
anyway it ended up being my brake booster. i put braided hose's alll round, new high temp bendix pads and slotted vt rotters and calipers. she pulls up well now but the abs goes nuts on me.
