Changing the light in aircon control VR acclaim

hey i was just wondering what bulbs are in the in the air con control,,and where can i get the wiring for the footwell light or how can i make up some wiring for them.

They're clear T5's that will have a small rubber boot over them. Check out this thread The complete VR/VS interior illumination replacement & conversion guide by 'Fonzie'. As for the footwell lights, they were fitted standard to the Calais and Statesman models so id be heading to your nearest wreckers for them. There's one either side in the front that screws into the standard plastic covers above your feet and also one either side of the rear trans tunnel mounted with the air vents in the back of the centre console. Make sure you get the small metal mounting brackets for these rear ones. Im pretty sure that standard the wiring is part of the higher model loom so it may be easiest to cut out these globe holders with enough wiring still attached and just wire them in your self to the illumination circuit or interior light etc. Just depends when you want them to come on.
